Jessica Simpson Ain't No Daisy Duke
It seems that many of you numbskulls still don’t know my history or the history of The Dukes of Hazzard in general. How sad. In my own particular case, having gone into hiding with all my liquor money, only to surface after many years of inactivity and expert gluttony, my own people even get confused about my glorious past. If it weren’t for the history lesson at Heather’s Dukes of Hazzard Page or all that usefull information at Cousin Don’s Dukes of Hazzard Page, most of you folks woulda already forgotten my name!
Especially with that BLASTED Dukes of Hazzard Movie comin out in August, many of you folks don’t know nothin, about nothin about Me or Rosco or them Duke Boys or Daisy Duke.
Come to think about it, yesterday I got wind that Jessica Simpson was gonna try and be some kind of Daisy Duke herself!
That dim witted corporate sock puppet couldn’t tie Daisy Duke’s shoes; she couldn’t live for a
second with those duke boys or Uncle Jessy without peeing in her underwear and runnin for the hills,
..much less have the brains to wait tables at the Boars Nest like my Daisy.
Jessica Simpson….. what a joke. What a travesty.

You and the rest of the gang need to let the good ole usa know how all of you feel.Its not right in my eyes that they stomp the original cast in the dirt like that.Jessica is a has-been.Poor choice for a cast.At least they could have gotten someone with brown hair.I wont be watching the movie at all.

Jessica Simpson damn sure ain't no Daisy Duke and why she was chosen I'll never know. The perfect and most obvious choice for the sexy character of Daisy Duke would have to be the beautiful and very talented Brooke Burk. Does anybody know who plays Roscoe P. Coltran, Enos, or Cooter?
I don't know who really wrote these comments, but I do know that Boss Hog is dead. You may not think Jessica Simpson plays a good Daisy, but don't you think it's about time that all you people come into the 21st Century!!

Anonymous, don't be an idiot - some things should not be messed with- I don't care who the new cast is they can not and will never measure up to the Dukes that I grew up with. Simpson was a poor choice she has the IQ of a turnip- Catherine Bach was not only beautiful- she gave Daisy credibility and a whole lot of class- Have you seen Simpson- tarnishing not only a sexy but wholesome character but also ruining Nancy Sinatra's classic.
Jessica Simpson will NEVER be as beautiful as Catherine Bach... she should not have been Daisy Duke for 2 VERY obvious reasons... 1) Daisy Duke had brown hair, not blond! If you wanted to make the movie more believable at least get someone with brown hair! and last but not least... 2) Jessica Simpson makes Daisy Duke look like a slut/whore.... which she clearly wasnt! Catherine Bach was and always will be my idol... ever since i was a little girl, i've always wanted to be exactly like Daisy Duke... Now that Jessica is Daisy Duke, i dont think little girls will be thinking that anymore.
